UNDERGRADUATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR RESEARCH
The Department offers Linguistics students at Stanford a wide number of opportunities for research. These are of two types:
a) Those initiated by students. They range from informal work on a topic of mutual interest to the student and faculty to more formal projects completed through course work and fulfilling the junior research requirement, to year-long in-depth research on an honors thesis with two faculty members.
