CONSTRUCTION OF MEANING
Call for Papers:
Semantics Fest
March 14, 2003, at the Cordura 100, CSLI (Center for the Study of
Language and Information), Stanford University
The Construction of Meaning Workshop is pleased to sponsor the Fourth
Annual Stanford Semantics Fest. The Semantics Fest is once again
intended to serve as a forum for promoting discussion and collaboration
among all those in the Stanford community interested in the semantics
and pragmatics of natural language, as well as their interface with
other modules of grammar. We encourage contributions by all who share
these interests.
Papers (most likely 20 minute talks plus 10 minutes of discussion) are
invited on any topic touching on semantics or pragmatics in natural
language.
Submission of abstracts:
Abstracts should be submitted by Monday, February 3, 2003. All
abstracts should be in plain text and no more than 500 words long (not
including references). E-mail submissions are preferred. E-mail
abstracts to Judith Tonhauser, juditht@stanford.edu.
Deadlines and important dates:
Deadline for abstracts: Monday, Feb 3, 2003
Notification of acceptance: Friday, Feb 14, 2003
Deadline for revised abstracts: Friday, Feb 28, 2003
Semantics Fest: Friday, March 14, 2003
