University TA Awards

The Walter J. Gores Award

The Walter J. Gores Award for Excellence in Teaching is Stanford's highest teaching honor; it is presented yearly to one or two teaching assistants, a junior faculty member, and a senior faculty member. Nominations are made by any member of the Stanford community.

The Centennial TA Award

The Centennial TA Award is given by the University to recognize graduate students who have shown outstanding teaching skills. The Linguistics Department is able to nominate a student for this award once every two years.
