| This workshop offers a brief introduction to VARBRUL analysis using the GoldVarb program, based on examples in the presenter's book Analyzing Linguistic Variation. Concepts emphasized are the relation among different types of data used in an analysis, coding, recoding, and interpretation of results. Bibliographic resources addressing different types of analysis and references to available software will also be provided. | |
